Walking In Authority Teen Council empowers teens (13-19) and their parents in Metro Atlanta to advocate for themselves, gain exposure to civic duty, and develop leadership skills in preparation to address community issues and to become agents of change.

In addition to granting scholarships to deserving teens, the Director of Walking In Authority Teen Council, Mrs. Sparkle Adams, is a Posse Nominator through The Posse Foundation. The Posse Foundation identifies, recruits and trains individuals with extraordinary leadership potential. Posse Scholars receive four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships from Posse’s partner colleges and universities.
