Martin Luther King Day Parade Ft. WIATC
On January 19, the Walking in Authority Teen Council participated in the MLK Day Parade in Metro Atlanta to honor the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King was a renowned activist who led nonviolent movements to promote justice and equality for African Americans. He envisioned a nation where people are judged by their character rather than the color of their skin and advocated for the basic rights promised to all Americans.
Walking in Authority embraces these principles, and our teens demonstrated that same spirit of empathy during the event. They provided refreshments, including water and HUG juices, to participants and attendees in need.
