Environmental Conservation Cmte.: Project S.E.E.D

Walking in Authority's Environmental Conservation Committee has been working hand in hand with Project S.E.E.D to organize and provide a native garden for the First Baptist Church of Morrow.

The teens began by removing and mowing over all the preexisting plants/debris to lay down a new foundation. Afterwards, a layer of mulch and cardboard was given to provide not only long-term moisture but to minimize the amount of weeding needed by church staff. Finally, plants were placed cleverly to indicate that minimal maintenance is needed.
