Culture Ad Hoc Committee
The Cultural Committee celebrates the rich diversity within our council and the community we serve. Throughout the year, the committee leads community events and social media features that uplift cultural awareness and connection.
This committee is overseen by Chairwoman Alyssa Farley and Co‑Chairwoman Cymantha Jackson.
Legal Affairs Ad Hoc Committee
The Legal Affairs Committee was created to empower our community by sharing essential information about rights, responsibilities, and the structure of government and political systems. Through presentations and hands‑on activities, the committee helps our youth understand how civic processes affect their daily lives including hosting mock elections for council roles to build real‑world experience.
This committee is overseen by Chairwoman Ruth Crane and Co‑Chairwoman Sinachi Mgbemena.
Environmental Conservation
Ad Hoc Committee
The Environmental Conservation Committee was created to educate our youth and members on the importance of environmental sustainability and today’s most pressing environmental issues. Through hands‑on volunteer projects, the committee empowers our youth and community to take meaningful action on climate challenges and work together to keep our neighborhoods clean.
This committee is overseen by Chairman Ishan McNab and Co‑Chairwoman Timia Times.
Health & Wellness Ad Hoc Committee
The Health & Wellness Committee was established to educate our community on the importance of maintaining both physical and emotional well‑being. Through interactive presentations and engaging events, our teens learn and teach others about healthy eating, basic first aid, and practices that support a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
This committee is overseen by Co‑Chairman Raymond Pham.
